this is my desktop..........so beautiful, i just rewatched the whole thing and i'm listening to the soundtrack now............and the carpets remind me of damsell flies not dememtors the whole thing is a..........there are no words to describe this. or the game
Why is it horrible? It looks majestic to me! Oh right, you know how to draw and I don't (der) Well, don't be too hard on yourself, you've gotten this far and this image really does tell many a story for me
Really, the only word I can think to describe this is beautiful.
Don't be so hard on yourself! It's absolutely gorgeous! The colours are so warm and the shading and tone makes it even more warming in that sense. I actually thought that this was a screenshot from the game! It's just that well done and the detail taken in with the background (especially the back city and the clouds as well as the specks of dust)...it just captures the game's atmosphere, which is difficult to do because Journey, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful and well-done games to have ever come into the world. I also like the postures that Pewdie and Cry have at the bottom and how small they are, compared to the background.
The only criticism I have is that you can't really tell that it's Pewdie and Cry unless you zoom in - which then, I was able to see Cry's mask and very faint shades of Pewdie's hair. XD
Other than that, you should be very proud! This is one of the most beautiful pieces I've ever seen, and it does the game justice.
Wow, thank you so much for the critique and the compliments and everything!! Thank you very very very much! ;u; I wanted to concentrate on the background and the atmosphere, so I decided to make Pewdie and Cry very small and to put them in the corner xD You have to zoom in if you want to see them properly ;u; Thank you again for everything!
When I see an artwork, especially one that I really like, I try to give as much critique and elaboration as I can because there are so many elements in it that may have tickled my fancy. XD
The smallness of Pewdie and Cry is actually quite significant now that I look at it again - it just shows that they're both two small components in a much larger and more beautiful world. However, despite being small components, they are components nonetheless, which help provide in the world.
Whoa... What if... Cry actually turned out to be Bengt? Or was Bengt just apart of the game? Oh confusion. I'll figure it out eventually! But my hope still remains that Cry actually was Bengt. (Even though that's a 1 in a 1,000 answer to be correct.)
